IBM and Their Environment Plans

So the planet is heating up, natural habitats are falling apart, population and consumption is on the rise, and we still have to worry about that future water issue! Now, not all is lost and there are lots of people and companies out there doing the right thing and trying to make this world a better place. Another major company I have stumbled upon trying to make a difference is…IBM, and who better a company right?These guys played a big role in getting the world to where we are now, for better or worse.  So you would hope that such a huge IT company would be able to bring about great positive change again right? I cannot explain to you all the inter-workings of IBM right now and what they are doing right, theres allot going on and I just don’t know that much right now. However, there are some little facts that I have learned from their website thus far. They are playing a large role in Africa to create awareness about the impact of actions on the environment for both businesses and consumers, they are developing and investing in future technologies, electronic waste programs, searching for solutions with regards to energy and water, corporate responsibilities, there is a mass amount of information right now that I would like to try and learn more about. So go check out the website for yourself and look at issues that interest you and you will find some interesting facts with regards to IBM. I am sure that there will be many downsides found, but the role and acceptance of a big company like IBM could bring about great change.Keep it Green,Paul
